Quick cyclone armor question.

[:1]Is is true that cyclone armor doesn't calculate resistances?

If that is so resistance is less important to a windy druid, as long as you can keep your armor up. But if your caught unaware by gloams your pretty much hosed. And how does MDR work with cyclone armor?

Just need conformation on this so I can decide what kind of equipment to use.

Thanx!|||Cyclone Armor applies to damage before MDR and then Resist %: if it absorbs all damage, then the latter two are unnecessary.

Willowisp lightning damage can normally be negated with Lightning Resist 85% and +20 Lightning Absorb when playing solo, and LR 90% and +20 LA when playing in eight-player Ladder and single player games. Thundergod's Vigor Unique War Belt has +10% Maximum Lightning Resist and +20 LA, so a single item and enough LR % to take advantage of it neutralises the main threat.|||Yeah but its still good to have good resist so you can prevent more elemental damage after cyclone armor takes in action.|||In my experience, gloams aren't much of threat against cyclone armor and careful play.

If you scout ahead with a summon and carefully engage them, even the nastiest of gloam packs are unlikely to break through your armor. If you're going to get in the habit of running gloam-infested areas (or want to teleport around with enigma), I guess stacking LR might prove useful.
