I want to build a fury druid using ribcracker in sp. Taking into account that I can totally respec @ lvl 31, please suggest combination of equipment and druid skills for the early levels 1-30. I want to do it the fastest way.
(I have a relatively large ATMA itempool of low level items, too.)
E.g. sins are levelled faster as fire-trappers in the early stages. Is it worth pumping into energy at low levels and going the elemental way or not? I have never played elemental druids.

I like using a Steel large axe and jewels of envy early on. Attacks fast and does decent damage. I found 1pt Werebear and 1pt Maul to kill very fast as well.
Full on fire elemental Druid at 18+. Fissure owns.|||Most of the time it is fine to just run through the areas, there is way too much xp when playing straight through lol, very easy to get to 25 by ancients, and yeah a supercharged fissure build really owns|||Hell, just set it to /players8 and you'll level like crazy. In my last run on SP, I just played the game, and doing only the quests, and not adding in any extra areas or running Andariel or anything, I hit level 31 by mid-Act III. You can do easily do it in a single game session (and I don't mean a marathon 8-hour game session).|||Youll get it faster, but playing through the game will take more time|||at p8: you'll finish act 1 around level 18. as mentioned above, go fissure.

Just my $0.02: I play at /players 5 and don't do full clears, and still I reach the same levels in the same places. On /players 5-8 you'll get so far ahead of monsters level-wise that you gain less and less Experience, if you do full clears, and you end up reaching the same levels, no matter how you do it.
I would suggest /players 5, because drop-wise and Experience-wise there is little difference between /players 5 and /players 8, and /players 5 is a wee bit easier than /players 8 for Act Bosses.
And, yes, Fissure rules! But it is first available at Level 12, and it is somewhat Mana intensive for a young Druid.
Early on, Poison Creeper is very effective. A Pelt with +2-3 to Poison Creeper can work wonders from Level 6 (I don't think that there are any Pelts with a lower Level requirement than 6).
If possible, at Level 18, get a Pelt with +2-3 to Dire Wolf, and you'll have 3 Dire Wolves, which will speed things up.
Solar Creeper can help with Mana problems from level 24, and it can help the Dire Wolves with corpse disposal.
- FreezBee|||If you want to be really fast, you can use the modified d2gfx.dll to Enchant your new character. Even just the Enchant from Demon Limb is enough extra damage to help your breeze through the early stages. Once you hit 15, there's always the 1.07/1.09 Raven Claw. It'll hurt even more with Enchant. Even a 1.10+ Raven Claw will do the trick if you have a somewhat decent Enchant.
Otherwise, a fire druid, summoner, or fire/summoner will do the trick. Points in energy don't hurt at all early on. If you need extra mana beyond that, get some 3 socket helms and armors, and throw in Sapphires / Flawless Sapphires / Perfect Sapphires / Tir runes. As far as life is concerned, Angelic Wings/Angelic Halo gives a quick and easy 95 life.
