Building a Shaman

Some day down the road I am planning to build a shaman. I am wondering if my build will be hell viable. Here is what I am planning to use:

ravenlore -20 efr, 20+ all resist, 5/5 fire facet

maras

hoto

enigma mp

lidless um (spirit=too much str for this build)

mages

x2 bk

arach

tearhaunch (I think I will need good resist for this build)

My plan for skill distribution:

elemental-

rest firestorm

20 boulder

20 fissure

20 volcano

1 all other ele skills (also geddon ofc)

shifter-

none

summons-

1 raven

1 oak

1 HoW (main oak and boost dmg of merc and bear)

1 SoB (for changing oak in party when necessary)

1 spirit wolves

1 dire wolves

20 bear (vs fire immunes)

I am thinking this build will be good for getting through hell. But I should consider getting infinity for my druid's fire to kill fast. Since infinity does not break all immunes, my merc and bear will have to kill fire immunes and my volcano and boulder will have to do physical work too. Post your arguements, corrections, etc. to help me out too.|||I made a similar character not too long ago.

1.) Volcano sucks at killing Fire Immunes. It will do it, but your merc will kill them much faster. You'd be better off pumping Dire Wolves so Grizzly can tank anything and using a bow on switch or maybe a weak Tornado backup.

2.) Fissure, on the other hand, destroys everything, especially with Infinity. Infinity also does a good deal of damage along with CB, so win win. Max Fissure and its synergies.

3.) I'm not sure Spirit will cost you too much life, unless you are planning on going max block.

4.) Don't put any points in SoB.

5.) Getting geddon is kind of a waste imo. Its damage isn't very good and is sporadic at best. 1 pt in Cyclone Armor and Twister (crowd control) is enough.|||I've got a lvl 86 shamen it can key run mf andarial mephisto very qiuckly but for general gameplay it's very slow . Hell has to many fire Immunes . My shamen needs another 8 lvls atleast and fire damage is weak pvp but I need 4 ele skillers aswell but it is a fun char to play . Might remake into full fire Druid for pvp|||Quote:

I do know that you have excellent points with this build. But using volcano will help a little bit but not much for killing fire immunes. As for 1 point SoB, it will not hurt to put 1 point into it in case there is 3 druids in a baaling game so why not since it does not take up much points anyways. I do not think 1 point geddon is a waste since its going to be syngeried and skilled up so it will help a little bit. I do see geddon powerful compared to hurricane maxed out with syngeries.

Ok so I should go for fissure syngeries then go boulder last? Thanks this really helped me.
