Medusas Gaze for a rabies wolf?

My sorc recently found a Medusas Gaze from hell meph and the one stat that looks usefull is "10% Chance To Cast Level 7 Lower Resist When Struck"

I am thinking of a rabies build with some points into fury. Add a stormlash into the mix for static and you would have heavy AoE damage.

Has anyone tried this ?|||Rabies is not always effective in pvm but lower resist does work well with rabies. I consider rabies more of a pvp thing than pvm.|||Not worth it. You have to get hit to proc it and Rabies is more hit and run.|||Rabies blows in PvM.

Medusas same - never better than the shield I am wearing. It's just a slow blocker with a hi str req.

But Stormlash - now your cookin' with gasoline |||rabies is not good for pvm, mostly cause you will crash games sooner or later...|||It wouldn't be bad if you are using Fury as you actually get hit enough for it to proc. Stormlash with synergised ctc Tornado is fun. You could do Fire Claws as well. Would be fun and lots of style points. However, as vknez said, Rabies can cause game crashes on B.net.
