Lycanthropy and WW/WB

So what's the deal with Lycanthropy and Werewolf/Werebear? I'm assuming it's not worth sticking 20 points in each when you're playing a Shifting Druid, so what's recommended?|||Afaik most wolves max it, and probably most bears as well. Only reason I can think of not to, would be to get more points in a fire claws synergy.|||Maxing WW or WB respectively and also maxing Lycanthropy?|||Maxing Lyca. As a FC bear I have only 1 in WB and it works fine. Not high def anyways so points better spent elsewhere.|||The defense bonus at lv 20 is better than the max life bonus than Lycnathropy gives at lv 20 (unless I've misunderstood you).|||What I say is that def is low even when maxed WB, I had a Mauler before fc, and def was maybe 8k. Sure, if you have spare points as a shifter then maxing WB/WW is reasonable. With fc I have synergies to worry about as stated above.|||Oh, I see. Thanks for the advice. |||If you make a Werewolf, dont max werewolf. The AR bonus is not worth the points, and the attack speed bonus is negligible after about lvl 7. Points are better used for an extra tank (1 in bear, rest in dire for +life). Also, some like a carrion vine, but they die too easy IMO.

(ALWAYS max oak and Lyc... though thats advice from a HC perspective)
