Is the Mighty Kodiak Uber viable?

I guess the title says it all. I was wondering if a mighty kodiak could hold his own against the Uber three considering his tanking abilities and life stealing. Obviously i'd need the Azurewrath in order to leech from Meph's minions and a life tap wand on switch just in case, but is this doable?

I really don't want to use the ribcracker fury druid for ubering even though i know that is the better way to go, just seeing if this guy can do it.

Just as a side note: for the most part the guy that i'm making is going to be a variation that uses the Stormlash as his main weapon with points in the tornado synergies in order for his CTC to deal descent damage. I'm thinking for the ubers the Stormlash would be ineffective so i'd have to go with Azure or some other faster weapon to lay down as many CB's as possible. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated:

I guess what i'm really trying to tell is whether or not my experiment (Windy Kodiak) can do some ubering on the side, or if i need two seperate characters (bummer cause leveling is a little boring).

Thanks for any help.|||Possibly, you're going to need mad AR though.|||Azurewrath sounds like a good idea, it has amazing defensive abilities against the skeletons with the knockback and all =P

The weapon damage doesn't do much, it's only important for getting as much leech and speed as you can, but 6 frames is still pretty dang fast.

Grizzly and Oak might give some distraction, I wouldn't invest anything in grizzly it'll just die unless you max dire, but don't... just focus on the shape skillz. The biggest equalizer is having a good lvl 18-20 shockwave to keep all the other monkeys off your back so u can concentrate on only the ubers.

Maybe go like,

guilliiumes 'shael'

COH

dracs

Gores

blood belt

stash: good Dtorch, anni, few fhr resisor/ar/damage charms, rest should be some combination of 20 lifeys and damage/ar charms. Treachery to prebuff fade.|||Quote:

The problem with Azurewrath is that there are reported cases of Sanctuary waking up the ubers early. If you're trying to draw them out one at a time, using Azurewrath can result in you instead getting surrounded and swarmed by all three at once.|||Would you carry it on switch then? Lure one to a corner, switch to it to keep the minions off, then beat for the win?|||Yeah, have it on switch then I guess, and run around the outside to the upper left. See, I don't really get that, since Mephisto has the skeles but ah well|||It is w/ right gear ... mine could do pretty well ... it was just uber hard to get their last 5% of health down. I used something like ...

Guilliums face (um'ed or 15 all resist/xx mod)

up'ed rockfleece? (purple armor w/ CB and flee) it was um'ed

shaeled ss

griz caddy (ias all resist jewels would work better instead of ed/ias)

gores

dracs

dungos

highlords

raven/wisp

a lot of +damage/+life (hit 86 fhr) and + all resist sc's. and of course torch and annih.

The point was to hit fast get tap to go off and take them down to like zero HP's w/ cb. Then pray you can take them down the rest or your merc can if he is a mad tank.

Good luck.
|||i guess i dont like ugly builds. Because even if this uber killer set up is viable, i guess i will never accept to wear a rattlecage lol. Or a 6 os phasbe blade with something like 4 shaels, 1 ias jewel and a ber.

I must say though, the old SSog mighty kodiak buil is great because items are cheap an it give a lot of freedom. Ty all for your replies|||What kind of druid are you going to use a fury druid? You could give it a try but you would need lifetap, high damage, and massive ar to get the job done.|||hi. Having some experience with shifters, and having read SSog's thread, im looking for an optimal uber killier wearabear. ty for your advice
