PvP Wind/Fire/Summon hybrid questions

[:1]I have a ton of questions regarding this new build i have thought up, and i am generally very long winded, so brace yourself.

I previously made a pure Wind PvP Druid, and in all honesty, i didn't like it a whole lot. I then respeced him into a Shaman Druid which utilized Armageddon, Fissure, Volcano, and the Grizzly. I liked this Druid quite a bit more than the wind druid, but i felt it was lacking something. The Druid was very clumsy to play due to the cooldowns of the fire spells which i also didn't like. So I got thinking of something else that I could respec my Druid into, and i thought of this...

A Wind/Fire/Summon Hybrid. Now, I know this sounds like it is too stretched out to work, but just bare with me. I was planning on this.

20 Spirit Wolves

20 Dire Wolves

20 Grizzly

20 Heart of the Wolverine

1 Poison Creeper

1 twister

1 volcano

1 preqs

My thought process on the 1 point in both twister and volcano is for stunning purposes. On my Shaman Druid, volcano was EXTREMELY powerful. It did a pretty decent amount of damage and the best part about it, is that it puts players into hit recovery mode, thus making them stand there for a little bit and get mauled by my grizzly and whatever spell i have decided to use at the given time. So for this build, i would be using volcano for the exact same purpose, but, it won't be doing hardly any damage. As for twister (yes, twister, not tornado) i want to use its short stun to keep players in place. Before you laugh, think about it as if it were an assassin's mind blast. It'll be used for the exact same thing, stunning, and keeping players immobile. So the basic idea would be to tele stomp a player with my wolves, then comes volcano, and keep them stationary with twister. While all of this is happening, i just let my wolves eat at them. Twister only has a .4 second stun, but is easily spammable, so i figure there is a possibility that this could work.

But I do have a lot of questions...

1. Is twister affected by next delay? If so, would this break the build?

2. Are wolves powerful enough to take players down in PvP? (I can't use a bear because it will knock players off of the volcano with its knockback)

3. What is better in PvP out of Dire wolves and Spirit Wolves? I know Dire Wolves are better in PvM because they do more damage and get further increased damage from consuming corps'. However, there isn't any corps' for them to eat in PvP so would spirit wolves possibly do more damage? Im guessing not, but i just want to make sure.

4. When a player is stunned, do ravens by chance put them into hit recovery when they attack?

5. Would HoW or Oak be better? If it wouldn't cripple my minion's damage too much, I would prefer to use an Oak over HoW so i can have huge amounts of life. I have always liked much life druids can achieve with an Oak!

Sorry for all of the questions. I've never really played Druids a whole lot, and I feel like if I learned the mechanics of them, i would learn to love them!

Thank you for your help in advance |||My thoughts:

Twister doesn't stun near long enough for PvP purposes. You won't have a chance to get your second cast of it off before they retaliate or escape. Mind Blast works because it stuns for ten seconds and set up traps to finish the stun lock. The only similar skill Druids have is Shock Wave.

Volcano will force blocking with 1 pt but will be far from stunning anyone with the amount of damage it'll be dealing.

Now for your questions:

1. Not to my knowledge

2. No

3. Spirit Wolves. Neither have the damage potential to take someone down and Spirit Wolves keep you safer from charges.

4. Yes, any damage they sustain will force hit recovery.

5. How if you're relying on the summon. You need every bit of AR for them to hit.|||Quote:

Thank you for your replay :] I was testing the build out on PvM yesterday, and it seems that the stun lasts longer than it says, and you can usually get 1-2 more twisters off before the stun ends, depending on your FCR. My thought behind the spirit wolves was that they would be used for both killing and stunning. Since there are more wolves, that means more hits, thus, putting people into hit recovery more often. I realize the wolves will take a lot longer to kill someone in PvP than the bear would or even the dire wolves, but if they are stunned, i have all of the time in the world.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I feel that if twister isn't affected by next delay, then this build might work, i'm doubtful, but i'm willing to try it. I just want to make me a druid that works, and that is more fun than your standard windy druid.
