2H werebear wep

[:1]i was wondering if a ebotd (whatever highest 2h mace or axe is can't remember name atm) would be a good choice for a werebears 2h wep? i see alot of guides ask for a specific wep ribcracker or whatever and putting a shael into it. is it a must? will i swing way to slow with the ebotd?

also the build i was gonna do is max Maul,bear,lycan,HoW, shockwave. with a act2 merc who has holy freeze. just wondering if its doable or am i just going to be gimpy because its to slow.|||BotD will work. Ribby is an amazing weapon, but it really shines on a Werewolf that can attack multiple targets and apply crushing blow quickly. For a general PvM Werebear, BotD will be fine. You also have to consider that Ribby is dirt cheap.

According to the weapon speed calc, a BotD Champion Axe will swing one frame faster than Ribby on a Werebear. However, I've never been too familiar with the intricacies of shapeshift attack frames so this calc may or may not be accurate.|||Here's the newer version of the same calc. To my knowledge the normal bear breakpoints are all sorted, although considering how often people have been wrong I wouldn't be particularly surprised of they're not...

GPA seems like best base for BotD, as long as you keep 30 off-weapon IAS. I'd go for something faster like Thresher/Champ Axe if that's out of the question.|||good to know i cubed 2 chams for a reason hah, i'm not familiar which wep is GPA? and 30 off weapon ias means i have to get 30 ias through my other gear besides wep right?

Once he'd zodded and charmed it, it had max damage of 1,035 and +43% to resists. I believe he used it on a wolf rather than a bear, (four frame fury) but something along those lines would earn big style points. I've never tried eBotd gpa, but remember the damage is deceiving without CB in hell. Windhammer is up there for killing speed (make sure you have enough Oias if you Zod), and so is Immortal King though and with all the weapon CB they generally allow a more balanced build in terms of gear.
