Hardcore Fury Druid help

I'm going to start a Hardcore run with a friend (he's playing a summon necro) and wanted to play a druid. I only have experience with Wind druids (Playing for duels) and shapeshifting as a bearsorc

I've read through the guides. Heres what I was thinking for skills:

20 Werewolf

20 Lycanthropy

20 Fury

8 Feral Rage (45% Lifesteal)

1 into prereqs and Carrion vine

1+ Grizzly or Dire Wolves?

1+ Oak Sage?

Neither of us have other hardcore builds, so it will be played untwinked.

If I can find a ribcracker, up/shael it, I should have the fastest fury possible, and with some form of lifetap, I should be able to do Ubertrist.

Any thoughts?|||If you're playing with a summon Necro I'd max Oak and leave the other summons at 1.|||Yeah, we've nearly gotten to Act 2 (not rushing) and I think I've put the oaks sage up to 5 so far. His summons still do most of the killing, I'm too slow.

How will I be on survivability? I'll have an army for a meat shield, but on my own without a shield won't it be kinda tough? I'll have to find a way to max resists and probably som DR too.

EDIT: does ribcracker give respectable damage? It doesn't have very nice weapon damage |||Ribby is pound for pound the best PvM Fury weapon for its cost. You shouldn't be too bad off in survivability. Just don't go ramboing a group of Frenzytaurs|||Yes its a good idea to have friend with you on the run. Oak sage is good for hc because you do not want to die. If you two feel like you never die then max how instead of oak. But maybe oak would be a better choice in hc. I do not play hc so I tried to give a good answer.|||Lol, Frenzytaurs...

I'll give it a go then, hopefully I can find/trade for a ribcracker
